Lecturer (Teaching) in Holocaust Education

The department of Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment is a world-leading centre for economics, geography, business, mathematics, science and humanities education. A core strength of the Department is in the study, support and improvement of pedagogy, curriculum and assessment through multidisciplinary programmes.

The UCL Centre for Holocaust Education is a world class, research-informed centre of educational excellence. It supports teachers through high quality professional development to ensure that every school student develops meaningful knowledge and understanding of the Holocaust and is able to reflect on its significance.

In this post you will contribute to the delivery of the Centre’s national programme of research-informed professional development for teachers, across a range of different workstreams

With a Postgraduate Certificate in Education or equivalent educational qualification, you will have experience of teaching in secondary education settings and extensive knowledge and understanding of Holocaust education within the context of any relevant discipline.

Due to the nature of the duties, DBS clearance will be required.
