LEO Lecturer I
The Department of Mechanical Engineering seeks a Lecturer to teach the in-person portion of AUTO 563 Dynamics and Control of Automatic Transmissions for Winter Term 2026: January 1, 2026- April 30, 2026.
Duties include assisting with preparing and delivering lectures, preparing and grading homeworks, projects, and exams (as appropriate).
Hours: 6 hours per week
NOTE: This position is only for the winter term 2026. This is an open position.
A Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and previous teaching experience at the university level are strongly preferred.
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
