Library Aide, Technical Service Assistant
Job Summary
Provide support to the Technical Services Department of the James E. Faust Law Library at the S.J. Quinney College of Law.
Responsibilities
- File supplements.
- Digital scanning and metadata cataloging.
- Assist with mail.
- Label and shelve books.
- Shift and move books.
- Add and edit item records in the catalog.
- Remove, process, and recycle materials from the Library (Weeding).
- Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment and Level of Frequency typically required
Nearly Continuously: Office environment.
Physical Requirements and Level of Frequency that may be required
Nearly Continuously: Sitting, hearing, listening, talking. Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), walking. Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead.
Minimum Qualifications
Six months clerical or customer service experience required or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.

Detail oriented and dependable.
