- Remuneration: $120,443 to $131,749 pa (HEW7) (inclusive of $101,775 to $111,330 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join Faculty Operations, Faculty of Engineering.
The Faculty of Engineering is seeking a financial professional with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality financial management advice and services. In this key role, you will provide sound financial analysis to support decision making, advise leaders on periodic financial planning, budgeting, costing, forecasting, monitoring and reporting, and contribute to the Faculty's financial sustainability and strategic goals.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to the completion of a degree in finance or a related business discipline with at least four years subsequent relevant experience.
- Financial management skills in developing, reviewing, and analysing large budgets using a range of corporate financial systems and demonstrated experience in applying financial governance principles.
- Demonstrated ability to provide accurate advice on financial and other data in a clear and concise manner to a variety of stakeholders.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to gather and integrate information from several sources to enable accurate and strategic decision making.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to a culture that is committed to the continuous improvement and innovation of processes and services.
- Highly developed digital literacy skills with demonstrated high level proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products (including databases) and financial packages such as Oracle, with the ability to develop reports.
- High level interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to quickly establish rapport, manage collaborative working relationships and engage with diverse client groups.
