Management - Part-Time Lecturer Pool
POSITION
The Department of Management at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Part-Time Lecturer Pool.
We welcome applications from individuals who are experienced and student-centered to teach in the following subject areas:
- Business Law (including various areas such as Entertainment Law, Internet Law, International Business Law)
- Entertainment, Hospitality and affiliated areas (e.g. Music Business, Sports Management, Arts Management)
- Entrepreneurship
- International Business
- Leadership
- Operations and Supply Chain Management
- Organizational Behavior
- Human Resources Management
- Strategic Management
This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions are available.
APPOINTMENTS FROM THE PART-TIME POOL ARE TEMPORARY AND OFTEN MADE JUST PRIOR TO THE START OF THE ACADEMIC TERM. APPLICANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE ON VERY SHORT NOTICE.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- M.B.A. or Master's Degree from an accredited U.S. institution or foreign equivalent; JD or Master's degree in Legal Studies (or equivalent) from an ABA-Accredited U.S. Institution, for teaching courses in law/legal studies
- Committed to ongoing professional development to maintain currency in the field
- Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Doctoral degree in Business or a related field
- At least one (1) semester of experience teaching an undergraduate course in Management and/or Business Law at an accredited higher education institution
- At least one (1) year of relevant industry experience
- Preference will be given to those with at least one graduate degree from a program accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)
- Preference will be given to those with significant teaching experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment.
- Preference will be given to those with current and on-going full-time relevant professional experience.
