- Salary: $116,636 – $129,479 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.

The Opportunity
The Manager, Academic Integrity plays a pivotal role in shaping Western Sydney University’s approach to protecting award integrity and ensuring assessment validity across the institution. Working within the Quality and Integrity Portfolio, you will lead the design and implementation of frameworks, resources, and processes that embed a consistent and robust academic integrity culture.
You will provide strategic advice to senior leaders, analyse emerging risks across the sector, and develop coordinated responses that align with the Higher Education Standards Framework and TEQSA guidance. This includes contributing to policy development, preparing targeted communications, consulting with stakeholders, and informing continuous improvement initiatives.
A key responsibility is driving actions outlined in the Institutional Action Plan to Mitigate Risks of Generative AI on Award Integrity. You will track performance measures, prepare insights, and coordinate the work of academic integrity networks that strengthen assessment security and ensure alignment across Divisions, Schools, and key University partners. Operating with autonomy, you will foster strong relationships and deliver solutions that are timely, practical, and future-facing.
What Success Looks Like:
- Deliver high-quality academic integrity advice that informs strategic decision making.
- Identify award integrity risks, synthesising data and insights to recommend measurable improvements.
- Lead the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines that uphold award integrity.
- Coordinate University-wide networks to embed consistent approaches to assessment security.
- Drive institutional initiatives, including the Generative AI Action Plan, monitoring outcomes and reporting progress.

About You
- Postgraduate qualifications and/or extensive experience in academic integrity, policy development, or related higher education fields.
- Demonstrated expertise in analysing complex issues, interpreting legislation, and producing clear written advice.
- Strong project management capability, including ability to prioritise, coordinate workflows, and meet deadlines.
- High-level facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to work effectively across diverse groups.
- Proven experience developing and delivering training, guidance, or resources that influence practice.
