"Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MSCMHS) Adjunct Faculty"

Brescia University, a small liberal arts university located in Owensboro, Kentucky, is launching a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MSCMHS) degree beginning in Fall 2025. We are searching for adjunct faculty members to teach a minimum of four courses of the eight CACREP domains, field work experience, and/or clinical mental health counseling specialty area courses.

Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in counselor education, preferably from a CACREP-accredited program. Or, related doctoral degrees will be considered if the applicant has been employed as a full-time faculty member in a counselor education program for a minimum of one full academic year before July 1, 2013
• Meet CACREP standards to serve as an adjunct faculty member
• Licensed as LMHC or license-eligible
• Meet CACREP standards to serve as an adjunct faculty member
• Effective teaching performance with proficiency in various modalities (asynchronous, synchronous face to face, virtual)
• Must have competency in Moodle, Zoom, PC applications, Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Experience with CACREP accreditation, clinical experience in clinical mental health counseling, and/or credential of approved clinical supervisor by CCE preferred
