The Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute (SSIHI) is an academic center for integrative health and medicine, providing the best scientific research, education and clinical care, integrating conventional and complementary medicine. Our mission is to transform healthcare through the practice of integrative health by conducting rigorous research, promoting evidence-based treatment modalities, educating the public on well-being practices, providing individualized, patient-centered clinical care and providing services to the community that focus on obtaining optimal health.
Your Role on the Team
California licensed Naturopathic Doctor to join a growing team of multidisciplinary providers and provide evidence-informed and patient centered, integrative health care to a diverse population in a supportive and innovative environment with access to leading edge resources. Responsibilities include direct patient care, education and participation in research or scholarly activities.
What It Takes to be Successful
Required:
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced skills associated with conducting the most complex diagnosis, problem-solving and critical-thinking.
- Skills associated with program development and implementation.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative manner with diverse client group, medical staff, and faculty.
- Ability to conduct the most complex analysis, develop and present recommendations, findings, and determine appropriate course of treatment.
- Ability to exert influence on policies and programs of significance.
- Knowledge of electronic / medical records systems.
- Must be computer literate.
- Ability to develop and implement educational activities and initiatives
- ND degree from Accredited University
- Successful completion of an accredited 2-year post-graduate residency program in naturopathic medicine
- Preference will be given to applicants that demonstrate advanced training and/or certification in naturopathic and integrative therapies and therapeutics
