Package Pickup Center Coordinator
Job Overview
Coordinate the daily operations of the centralized package pickup center (PPC) in Tangeman University Center. Perform a variety of administrative and customer service duties. Ensure security of parcel handling through chain of custody procedures and ensure compliance with any postal or shipping governmental or institutional regulations and/or policy and procedures. Oversee all hiring and training of the package pickup center (PPC) student staff.
Essential Functions
- Coordinate operational activities and planning for designated operations unit. Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Supervision of student staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Monitor package handling processing, including sorting and verification of incoming packages.
- Coordinate parcel chain of custody processes and utilization of surveillance systems.
- Coordinate daily business relationships and interactions with vendors and parcel carriers.
- Coordinate operational equipment maintenance. Order supplies relating to vendor systems and equipment agreements/procurement.
- Coordinate regular maintenance checks of physical store and operational space. Report needed repairs and coordinate work order requests for repairs.
- Conduct package tracking software and hardware systems checks as needed.
- Gather and analyze information on systems, process activities, and produce reports.

Required Education
High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience
Two (2) combined years relevant work experience in some of the following: customer service, staff administration and management, logistics, shipping and receiving, package handling, mail services, or other.
