Part-time Adjunct Instructor - Voice Lessons
Position Summary
The Music Department is recruiting for one part-time Adjunct Instructor to teach Voice lessons beginning in January 2026.
Salary Based on Instructional Units(one instructional unit is equivalent to 16 contact hours per semester).
$655.67/per instructional unit in the Fall/Spring/Summer
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide instruction to students in a meaningful classroom and/or laboratory learning environment.
Qualifications
- Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in in Music or Bachelor's degree in Music or Music Education. (unofficial transcripts are required for all graduate level work).
- Must have at least 14 undergraduate hours of private lessons in voice AND 6semesters of singing experience in a college choir.
- Bachelor degree prepared instructors must have at least two years professional singing experience in an auditioned paid chorus, opera company, or auditioned paid venue.
- A demonstrated commitment to serving a diverse array of students, to the community college mission, and to academic excellence.
- College teaching experience preferred.
