Part-time Faculty, Computer Science and Information Systems
Teach undergraduate courses in Computer Science and Information Technology. Courses may include areas such as programming, data structures, algorithms, databases, cybersecurity, networking, web development, software engineering, and related topics. Responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, preparing course materials, assessing student learning, and maintaining regular communication with students. Instruction may occur in face-to-face, hybrid, or online formats. Requires strong disciplinary expertise in relevant areas of computing and a demonstrated commitment to high-quality undergraduate instruction.
Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.
Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday. Teaching assignments may be remote or at various locations.
Primary Location: Youngstown
Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures: Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Minimum Qualifications: At least a master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent related field. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications: One or more year(s) of relevant teaching or professional experience.
