Part - Time Instructor, CADD - FY 2026
Job Description
Responsibilities of a Part Time Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) Technology Instructor include but are not limited to:
- Lecture and or Lab instruction for CADD courses
- Develop syllabi and course materials. Instruct students in accordance with curriculum standards and objectives
- Independently evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes. Make necessary provisions to meet learning needs
- Provide advisement to students
- Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested
- CADD courses are taught at Multiple Campuses, in-person, and or online. Courses may be scheduled during the day, evenings, and or weekends.
Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience using industry standard software but not limited to AutoCAD, Rivet and SolidWorks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CADD Program (Software) Certification(s)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Previous experience teaching classes.
- Knowledge of computer classroom technologies
- Knowledge of Canvas or other Learning Management Systems
- Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce
Schedule: CADD courses are taught at Multiple Campuses, in-person, and or online. Courses may be scheduled during the day, evenings, and or weekends
Salary: $925.00 per credit hour. Credits will vary by semester
Exempt: Yes
Full-Time Equivalent: 47.5%
