Position Summary

Austin Peay State University is currently seeking part-time, temporary, instructors in the area of Radiation Therapy, Radiography, and Medical Laboratory Science. The Department is seeking an individual proficient in radiation therapy and/or radiography didactics and medical laboratory science clinical practice and didactic education.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach in the area of Radiation Therapy, Radiography, and Medical Laboratory Science based on demand from semester to semester.
• Interested candidates must be certified in the discipline for which they are applying.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Didactic and clinical instruction as needed.

Required Minimum Qualifications

• A Master's degree and certification in appropriate discipline; OR
• A Bachelor's degree and minimum of five (5) years applicable clinical experience in appropriate discipline.
• For the Medical Laboratory Science position, MT or MLS certification is required.
• For the Radiologic Technology positions, RT certification is required.
• A background search will be required of the successful applicant.
