"Part-time lecturer in Political Science Fall 2025"

The department of Political Science at UC Riverside seeks qualified applicants to teach POSC 010 American Politics: An introduction to the principles and practices of government, focusing on the policy process and selected political issues in the United States. Fall quarter begins September 22, 2025. Approximate salary is $7,886 per course, dependent on experience and final budget approval.

Successful candidates must possess an M.A. degree in a related field, with one year of teaching experience at the college level and a commitment to teaching excellence. A Ph.D. is preferred, but candidates with ABD status will be considered. Priority is given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching and experience in American Politics.

Duties: Develop course material and lectures, conduct in-person lectures, supervise TA team, assign grades, hold regular office hours, and manage all course aspects.
