The successful candidate will join the Division as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor in the Clinician Educator Line. The major criterion for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.

Academic rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford is nationally ranked #10 in Pulmonology by U.S. News & World Report. With over 35 years of experience, our highly specialized, multidisciplinary team provides the latest research driven care. Our team works closely with experts from our Pulmonary & Cystic Fibrosis Center, Cardiothoracic Center, and the Center for Advanced Lung (CEAL) Therapies. Together, we provide treatment for the full range of chronic diseases that may require lung and heart/lung transplantation, such as cystic fibrosis, hereditable lung and pulmonary vascular diseases, to complex congenital heart conditions. An important component of this position is the opportunity to develop and build programs in a multi-disciplinary setting.

The successful applicant should have an MD/DO degree and Board Certification in Pediatrics, and either Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine and a California Medical License by the time of hire.

We expect the successful candidate to be outstanding clinicians with dedication to teaching, mentoring trainees and evidence of a collaborative approach. Priority will be given to candidates that have an interest in or track record of making contributions to scholarly literature.
