"Peer Success Coach (Student) (FWS)"

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the daily activities of the office including student follow-up and outreach, assisting the Graduate Peer Success Coach in visual design to promote and attend events.
• Track and assist the Associate Director of Student Success Operations with student requests.
• Work on special projects and general office duties.
• Analyze retention trends, identify barriers to student success, and intervene as appropriate.
• Help track meeting minutes, referring students in need, and helping to promote available resources.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Part-time. 10 hours per week.

Salary Range: $17.95 -$18.25 per hour.

Required Education and Experience: Working knowledge of communications and familiarity with university organization desired. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to be flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced office atmosphere. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while paying close attention to detail and work independently to complete designated assignments.

Preferred Education and Experience: Majors/minors including communications or public affairs are helpful but not required. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, Visual Design, and social media. Must be curious, proactive, and have a can-do attitude.
