Placement Coordinator and Test Center Administrator
Job Details
The Placement Coordinator/Test Center Administrator reports to the Director of the Office of Field Placement and Licensure.
The anticipated start date is June 2026.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate the placements in public or private PK-12 schools for student teachers, practicum students, and clinical students for both graduate and undergraduate education programs. The placement coordinator creates and maintains current MOUs for each district that placements. Communicate effectively with school districts, program leads, and others in TTC. Other duties as assigned.
- Testing Center Administrator - schedule all Praxis exams in the TTC testing center, serve as the lead administrator and liaison between ETS and ESU for the testing center, ensure GAs are trained to proctor tests, assign GAs to testing sessions, report to ETS, order parts and supplies for testing center, perform software and hardware updates, and other duties as assigned.
- Maintain partnerships with districts, maintain district and mentor contacts for future placements, create manual for processes related to placements, review processes for efficient communications and maintain list of policies and requirements for each district in which placements are requested.
- Excellent communication skills including professional emails, professional phone calls, professional virtual meetings, etc.
- Attend CTE, CAPs, CIPs, or other program/faculty meetings to share placement information or to gather needed details for the placement process.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of professional experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong understanding and work in Excel
- Willingness to learn PK-12 systems in Kansas and new software systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of teacher education landscape in the state of Kansas
- Knowledge of operation of university systems and academic education programs
COMPENSATION:
- Hourly Rate: $24.04 - $26.45
- Hourly Rate will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
