About the role
You will be responsible for the administration of co-operative learning functions within the higher education institutes and TAFE. Working closely with Course Coordinators, you will ensure compliance with policies and procedures, provide efficient communication with placement organisations, students and staff and implement procedures to ensure a quality experience for our students and industry partners.
You will:
- coordinate the administration of placements;
- assist in the development, documentation and implementation of procedures;
- establish, maintain and store legal agreements for placements in accordance with University policies, procedures and guidelines; and
- maintain accurate and confidential records and files of student placements.
About you
You will have experience in the administration of placements in a Higher Education or TAFE setting and demonstrated administrative skills, including the ability to maintain efficient and effective record-keeping, filing systems and databases.
You will possess demonstrated:
- ability to interpret policies and procedures, and to provide accurate and timely advice to stakeholders;
- communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders;
- problem solving, time management and organisational skills; and
- ability to work independently and as a contributing member of a team.
