Job Summary

A postdoctoral position is available in the Conrady Laboratory at the University of Utah. Postdoc with a primary duty consisting of research-related work. Required to meet FLSA threshold to be paid on a salaried basis, otherwise employment record will convert to hourly.

Responsibilities

Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description. The lab is focused on innate immunity to viral infections of the retina. As such, the applicant shall be proficient in basic immunology techniques including flow cytometry, immunofluorescent imaging, viral propagation and isolation, immunohistochemistry, performing retinal imaging including ERGs, and have experience in bioinformatics. The applicant should also be proficient in mouse handling and colony maintenance. Furthermore, the applicant will have a history of scientific pursuits including data analysis and academic writing.
