Post Doc Researcher
Postdoc positions are available for Joshua Yuan’s lab at Washington University in St. Louis and Susie Dai’s lab at University of Missouri for the most qualified candidates. The postdocs will work on developing continuous fermentation system, biobased materials for medical and environmental applications, hybrid systems for persistent chemical remediation, as well as synthetic biology design. We are particularly interested in candidates with strong backgrounds in synthetic biology, microbial fermentation, biomedical materials, protein chemistry, enzyme technology, and electrobio system design. For all areas, multidisciplinary expertise is appreciated, but not necessary. The general lab environment is collaborative, friendly, and constructive. We are seeking highly motivated and productive scientists with relevant background and teamwork capacity. The two labs nurture a collaborative environment with ample opportunities for publications, conference presentations, grant writing, professional training, and career development.
