Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate in Counseling or Clinical Psychology, or related field, or Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field, and eligibility for appropriate licensure in North Carolina.
The successful candidate will be expected to make application for licensure at the start of employment and maintain any licensure status for the continuation of the appointment.

Preferred Qualifications
1. For doctoral applicants, APA approved training for both academic and internship preparation.
2. Experience in a university counseling center or demonstrated interest in providing the full range of psychological services offered by the Counseling Center.
Candidates should also be committed to a proactive student affairs perspective involving an active relationship with the campus community; be team-oriented and collaborative with students, colleagues, and university staff; and have broad generalist clinical skills in assessing and intervening with a wide range of disorders, concerns, and degrees of pathology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties of the position include:
- short-term individual, group, and couples therapy
- psychological assessment
- crisis intervention
- consultation
- outreach and psychoeducational workshops (sometimes after hours)
- clinical supervision and training
- case management as needed
- liaison/consultant relationships
- and rotating after hours emergency/crisis on call responsibilities as back-up to ProtoCall.
The position includes some administrative duties and roles based on interest areas and desired areas of specialization.
Specializations are flexible, based on interest, and could be in areas such as:
- Eating Disorders
- Treatment of Trauma
- Sports Psychology
- Supervision and Training
- Behavioral Health Consulting
- Multicultural Focus
- Administration and Leadership
- Or an individualized specialization may be developed.
Work Schedule/Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M.
Suggested Salary Range: $41,400 - $43,888
