Post Doctoral Scholar
The Department of Physics invites applications for a Post Doctoral Scholar position based in the Physics Research Building. The scholar will lead and contribute to projects involving the design, synthesis, and comprehensive characterization of novel material systems that harness spin, orbital, and magnon degrees of freedom. Research includes thin-film deposition, advanced materials characterization, and the development of high-frequency or ultrafast experimental capabilities. The Post Doctoral Scholar will take a leading role in experimental studies on thin films and heterostructures, including spin-orbit torque phenomena, magnon-spin interactions, and orbital transport.
This is a term position for 2 years and is renewable based on performance and availability of funds.
