Responsibilities Teaching support for intro courses: Provide in-class support during CS110 and CS112 lectures, thus enabling the use of active learning techniques (such as whiteboard problem solving, pair programming, and small group discussion) during larger lecture sections. Assist in grading so that students receive timely feedback on programming assignments. This will include leading and coordinating grading support from undergraduate graders. Hold student hours to provide additional support for students while fostering a sense of community. Help faculty to reach out and support students who require additional support. Assist in the development and testing of new teaching materials including in-class activities and new assignments. Assist with the collection and analysis of assessment data for evaluating these new courses. Create and maintain instructional video tutorials and documentation for the HCI Lab teaching equipment. Perform open technical demos and tutorials for students, faculty and staff.
