Postdoctoral Fellow - DBTTrauma Focused
Job Summary
The position will serve as an administrative position in the Department of Psychiatry and Health Behavior. The incumbent will provide support to the psychology faculty, psychology interns, and backup administrative support staff as needed. Additionally, this position will provide administrative support for the Psychology training program.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy services in an outpatient setting to the women's population
- Supervise interns and group therapy sessions; coordinate activities of students, graduate assistants, and other research personnel engaged in research activities.
- Compose articles for publication in scientific journals; review articles prepared by others.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements: Ph.D. or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
Specialized training: In Dialectical Behavioral Training (DBT), trauma-focused, women's focused therapies
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
ABILITIES: Ability to maintain confidentiality; Ability to complete work and to meet deadlines; Willingness and ability to work with research animals; Ability to work independently with only general supervision; Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases or willingness to learn
Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days/M-F (work outside of the normal business hours will likely be required of an employee in an exempt level position). Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position. Recruitment Period: 10/29/24 - Until Filled.
