Postdoctoral Fellow
Job Summary
The job entails processing and characterizing a new class of materials discovered. We labelled hydroxide derived nanomaterials of these one dimensional titania where most of the research will be concentrated. The post-doc will make and characterize these materials, more specifically they will characterize the materials for catalytic and battery applications.
Essential Functions
- Carrying research in the lab.
- Writing papers.
- Mentoring students and writing proposals.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a PhD or Doctorate in Materials Engineering or Chemical Engineering or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Physical Demands
Typically sitting at a desk/table, typically standing, walking, lifting demands ≤ 25lbs.

University City - Philadelphia, PA
Additional Information
This position is classified as Exempt, grade K. Compensation for this grade ranges from $54,630.00 - $81,940.00 per year. Applicants are encouraged to review the Benefits Brochure for more information. Applications close: Oct 2 2025.
