Job Summary
The Postdoctoral Fellow provides for an internship and continuation of scholarly activity and research after achieving the PhD or other doctoral degree under the direction of a senior faculty member who serves as a mentor for the postdoctoral appointee.

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellowship in NIH-funded research on functional neuroimaging. Our work combines fMRI, EEG/ERP, psychophysiology, eye-tracking, and behavioral methods to investigate the computational and neural mechanisms underlying decision-making and reinforcement learning in smoking behavior. The fellow will receive primary mentorship from Lark Lim, Ph.D. (Lim Lab for Affective Neuroscience and Neuroeconomics; http://www.llann.org) and will collaborate closely with other co-investigators. The position involves participation in all aspects of research, including data collection and analysis, grant writing, manuscript preparation, and dissemination of scientific findings, as well as other research-related duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate. Additional qualifications based on assignment.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Cognitive Neuroscience or closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Competitive candidates will hold a Ph.D. in a field relevant to Cognitive Neuroscience and have a strong research background in functional neuroimaging, including substantial experience with EEG and/or fMRI data analysis and programming.
Proficient in advanced neuroimaging data analysis, computational modeling, machine learning, and programming (e.g., MATLAB, Python). Demonstrate a strong publication record and academic writing skills appropriate to their career stage.
