Offer Description
Activities and context: The post-doctoral fellow will collect, process, organize, and analyze data generated by NMI/US implementation, integrating epidemiological, taxonomic, pathological, and molecular information. They will assess its performance against conventional necropsy, integrate results from different methods, train professionals and fellows, contribute to standardizing and implementing surveillance strategies, and evaluate the impact of NMI/US on epidemiological surveillance in São Paulo state.
Mandatory requirements: Experience in diagnostic imaging, focusing on minimally invasive ultrasound-guided autopsy/necropsy procedures; PhD obtained within the last seven years; Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, or related fields; and a track record of scientific output in the field of image-guided minimally invasive procedures, evidenced by publications in high-impact, indexed journals.
Desirable requirements: Ability to work independently and in collaboration with multidisciplinary research groups; assist in the supervision and co-supervision of students and technicians (TT-III); collaborate on the writing and revision of the research group's scientific papers; and participate in activities aimed at technology and knowledge transfer.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 12,570.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
