We are seeking a detail-oriented, bilingual Administrative Assistant to join our team and provide vital support to our school community.


Position Overview

The Administrative Assistant is the first point of contact for families, staff, and visitors. This role requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a welcoming demeanor. The ability to speak Cantonese is required, and the ability to read Chinese is a strong plus, as we serve a diverse school community.


Responsibilities


• Greet and assist families, visitors, and staff with professionalism and warmth.


• Manage phone calls, emails, and school correspondence in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.


• Support admissions, enrollment, and student records management.


• Coordinate schedules, meetings, and school events.


• Assist with billing, tuition tracking, and other clerical tasks.


• Maintain office supplies and ensure smooth daily operations.


• Translate or assist with communications for families as needed.


• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to support the school's mission.


Qualifications


• Required: Proficiency in spoken English; ability to communicate clearly with families.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.


• Preferred: Ability to read and write Chinese.


• Prior experience as an administrative assistant, office coordinator, or school secretary (experience in an education setting is a plus).


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor with a passion for working with families and children.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace; comfort with basic database or student information systems.
