"Professor of Law"

Columbia Law School is seeking to hire one or more tenured faculty members in the area of law. The position will include teaching a full academic load; regular publication of significant scholarly work; and active participation in faculty affairs, including membership on standing faculty committees in consideration of a wide range of issues including faculty appointments and curricular modifications.

Qualifications: J.D. (or J.D. equivalent); or Ph.D. The candidate must be widely recognized as a leader in their particular field(s) of scholarship and teaching.

Salary Range: $240,000–$340,000. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
