The Program is one of 14 area- or thematically-focused centers and programs located within the Stanford Global Studies Division in the School of Humanities and Sciences.

JOB PURPOSE

The Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Program’s core objectives, allocating roughly half of their time to event management and half to communications, with slightly greater emphasis on the former.

Event Management

The Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Program’s academic and public events... They communicate professionally with Program guests...

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience

High school diploma and three years of administrative experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent (preferably in humanities or social sciences).
  • One-two years of event management experience in an academic setting (2+ years preferred)
  • A detail-oriented approach to event logistics...
