Salary Range: Up to $40,000-$43,000 annualized, commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.
Hours: up to 40 hours per week, exempt.

Essential Functions
Job Summary
The Program Coordinator oversees the execution of the recruitment plan and manages the communications plan for the college. The Program Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of planning, scheduling, execution, and supervision of the recruitment plan and communication initiatives for the college.
Core Responsibilities
Communication:
- Serves as a point of contact for college communication efforts and serves as liaison to the Office of Academic Strategic Communications.
- Oversees the development and execution of an annual, college-wide strategic communications plan.
- Coordinates with internal teams to support the development of various communications to promote special projects, programs, services and opportunities to students, faculty and external audiences ensuring timely delivery and quality output.
- Designs, updates, writes, edits, formats and assembles stories, documents, and promotional materials ensuring compliance with University standards and requirements. This includes stories, electronic communication, website updates, brochures, presentations, reports, and alumni outreach.
- Supervises student employees that serve as the college web specialist and social media coordinator.
- Maintains a database of current students and alumni and their accomplishments and employments to reference when needing Honors College spotlights.
Recruitment:
- Serves as point of contact for college recruitment and serves as liaison to the Office of Strategic Enrollment.
- Works extensively with the CRM-Salesforce and BANNER Student Information Systems to communicate with students, manage campaigns, dashboards, and track enrollment reporting.
- Develops relationships with high school counselors and identified high school and transfer programs.
- Coordinates and facilitates both on-campus and off-campus Honors College recruitment and yield events.
- Attends, supports, and participates in recruitment events both on and off campus to represent the Honors College at college fairs, campus visits, student meetings, and counseling and outreach to students, families, and university partners.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Valid driver's license required prior to first day.
- Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in communications and/or marketing, recruiting, higher education recruitment or advising and/or related office.
- Ability and experience in drafting communications, recruitment strategies and targets, documented ability to analyze and interpret data.
- This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited university.
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible management experience in higher education communications, and/or recruitment.
- Experience with project management software such as Baseline and CRM software such as Salesforce.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Demonstrated organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Working Conditions
- Frequent evening and weekend hours.
- Ability to travel to and from meetings, or other business-related events.
- Travel is required with a personal car and/or rental car.
Physical Demands:
- Exerts up to 40 lbs. of force occasionally.
- This position requires walking long distances, long periods of standing, and use of stairs.
This position will be primarily located on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
