Description

PD1: Directs an ongoing university program to ensure that prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with its mission and/or specified objectives. Prepares short- and long-term goals and objectives.
1. Plans, develops and administers methods, strategies and procedures for meeting program objectives; directs and oversees the daily activities of staff members.
2. Prepares and monitors the annual budget and ensures that expenditures are within budget allocation.
3. Directs and coordinates personally, or through subordinate personnel, activities concerned with carrying out the objectives of the program.
4. Directs the preparation of and reviews reports and records of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objectives; modifies or changes methodology as required to redirect activities and attains objectives.
5. Analyzes trends within program areas, maintaining expert awareness of program information and change needs.
6. Formulates, implements, and maintains appropriate policies and procedures concerning program administration.
7. Manages and administers grant for program, including meetings, communication coordination, scholarships and other operations.
8. May prepare or participate in the preparation of proposals to obtain grants from state and federal agencies, and private foundation sponsors.
9. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Salary: $56,800 - 64,600
MQ: Education: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Experience: Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.

PD2: Responsible for the operations of a large program or center at the university. Oversees staff, budgets, and projects.
1. Oversees a large department, program or center.
2. Manages budget and engages in strategic planning to ensure all goals are met.
3. Hires and directs the activities of staff.
4. Resolves personnel issues as they arise.
5. Engages in budget-planning, grant oversight, and policy development.
6. Implements new programs and projects and monitors ongoing activities of department or center.
7. Reviews department policies and processes and implements improvements as needed.
8. Represents department or center to internal and external constituents.
9. Performs other job-related duties as required.
Salary: $65,300 - 74,300

Description: The Rockwell Career Center (RCC) offers career development, job search, recruiting, and networking services to degree-seeking students at the C. T. Bauer College of Business. The Assistant/Associate Director of RCC Recruitment is an employer-facing, growth-oriented role focused on expanding RCC’s recruiting marketplace by securing new employers and increasing internship and full-time opportunities for Bauer students.

Primary Purpose: This role serves as RCC’s lead for business development and employer acquisition, identifying new organizations, opening doors with decision-makers, and converting prospects into active campus recruiting partners. The position also maintains a portfolio of employers for relationship management and engagement.

Specific Job Duties:
1. Drive new employer acquisition and market expansion. Identify and pursue new local, national, and global companies; build pipelines, conduct outreach, and convert prospects into recruiting partners. *(30%)
2. Develop employer recruiting opportunities that increase internships and full-time hiring. Consult with employers to design recruiting strategies aligned with Bauer talent; expand postings, experiential learning, and on-campus engagement. *(20%)
3. Manage an employer portfolio with growth targets. Maintain and deepen relationships with assigned employers while focusing on measurable increases in hiring, engagement, and brand presence. *(15%)
4. Create and implement employer-focused branding and go-to-market strategies. Support the College by implementing employer recruiting strategies tied to annual business plans and recruiting priorities; develop value propositions for varied employer types (startups to major corporations). *(10%)
5. Coordinate recruiting initiatives with campus and college partners. Work closely with RCC staff, faculty, program teams, volunteers, and other campus career centers to deliver aligned employer recruiting initiatives. *(10%)
6. Track recruiting activity and outcomes. Prepare and review reports on employer acquisition, engagement, postings, and hiring trends to measure progress toward RCC goals. *(5%)
7. Support employers’ on-campus presence and marketing execution. Assist employers with campus visibility; coordinate promotional opportunities for events and recruiting; guide employers on best practices for effective engagement with students. *(5%)
8. Lead or contribute to cross-college recruiting initiatives. May be assigned to manage intra- or inter-college recruiting initiatives and special projects that increase employer participation. *(3%)
9. Represent Bauer externally. Participate in associations and community engagement to strengthen brand awareness and build new employer pipelines. *(2%)
