Program Specialist I - College of Liberal and Fine Arts
Under general supervision, the College of Liberal and Fine Arts Program Specialist performs entry-level specialist duties for the College of Liberal and Fine Arts and its departments, programs, and partnerships. Serves as Campus Security Authority (CSA).
This is an in-office position located in Stephenville, Texas, with regular work hours of Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm or as work requirements indicate. This position requires a flexible work schedule, which at times will entail some evening and weekend work pending scheduled activities.
Responsibilities:
- 50% Development and Implementation of External and Partnership Promotion: Create and produce written materials for external promotion. Review and edit the college websites, materials, and presentations. Communicate with stakeholders to promote initiatives and maintain a positive college image. Lead digital outreach, website, and recruitment strategies for the college, including all messaging for prospective, admitted, and current students. Develop and execute a strategic promotional plan for the college and its departments. Promote student excellence opportunities through targeted outreach. Create promotional materials within budget and support development efforts. Assist in promoting and managing virtual and external recruitment events. Take and edit event photos for promotional use. Act as a liaison between the college, departments, and the Public Relations department. Manage student workers.
- 40% Assist with special projects for departments within the college: Accreditation preparation, Special Events, Organizing large-group travel.
- 10% Other Duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. No prior experience required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong Interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to present information clearly and concisely.
Preferred Experience: Higher Education, Disciplines within the College of Liberal and Fine Arts.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge and understanding of university organization, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures. Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft applications and Microsoft Teams. Knowledge and proficiency in using Hootsuite or other social media management software. Knowledge and proficiency in Canva and Canto or other digital media management software. Knowledge and proficiency in WordPress or other website management software. Photography and photo editing. Knowledge of AggieBuy and Concur/Emburse.
Salary: Commensurate with experience. The target base annual salary range is $41,000.00 to $50,761.00 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
