Ohlone College is seeking a pool of qualified applicants for temporary part-time teaching assignments in Psychology.

Position Description
Part-time faculty positions may include day, evening, weekend courses, and can be in-person, online, or hybrid at Fremont Campus, Newark Center, and/or eCampus.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach Psychology according to established course outlines.
- Evaluate student work with clear criteria and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain accurate records such as grades, syllabi, and attendance reports.
- Create an equity-based and welcoming classroom environment.
- Perform duties as per Board policy, faculty contract, and Faculty Handbook.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in Psychology; or Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Master's Degree in Counseling, Sociology, Statistics, Neuroscience, or Social Work; or equivalent. Commitment to equity, anti-racism, and serving diverse students. For more details, visit: Minimum Qualifications Link.
Desirable Qualifications
- Teaching experience at the community college level.
- Use of innovative teaching methods for student engagement.
- Creating equitable and inclusive classroom materials.
- Experience addressing equity issues and working with minoritized students.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
