Job Description
The University of Florida is looking for a Registrar Services Coordinator I to support and coordinate non-traditional student programs within the Office of the University Registrar. In this role, you will evaluate and manage student data, oversee tuition waiver processes, and ensure seamless academic services for distance education, dual enrollment, and special program populations.
Program Coordination
- Assist in managing Distance Education Programs, High School Dual Enrollment, and other special/non-traditional programs.
- Support students, departments, and colleges to ensure accurate and complete student records.
- Provide guidance on non-degree enrollment, drop/add, withdrawals, and grade processing.
- Evaluate and gather documentation for exceptions or waivers to university policies.
- Ensure UF systems and processes effectively support off-campus and non-traditional students.
- Coordinate application processing for Employee Education Program, State Agency Employee Tuition Fee Waiver, and Santa Fe-UF Employee Education Exchange Program.
- Monitor and manage daily workflow for tuition waiver applications.
- Collaborate with students, departments, the Bursar's Office, and Human Resource Services to ensure efficient processing.
- Collect, analyze, and compile data to produce bi-weekly and term reports for these populations.
Office Support
- Continuously review and recommend improvements to internal procedures, systems, and recordkeeping methods.
- Assist in coordinating major initiatives and new projects within the Registrar's Office.
- Research and analyze complex issues, recommending and implementing effective solutions.
- Support frontline staff in handling complex procedures related to special programs and tuition waivers.
Other Duties
- Develop and deliver training on policies, procedures, and program-specific processes.
- Participate in and present at team and office-wide meetings.
- Assist with hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of Federal Work Study and OPS student assistants.
- Perform additional duties as assigned in support of the Registrar's office and the division.
Expected Salary
$43,888 annually
