• Base Salary $83,038 - $87,739 + 17% superannuation 

About the opportunity

The Research Assistant will provide comprehensive research and clinical support across the Healthy Brain Ageing (HBA) team, contributing to the delivery of research studies and clinical activities across all stages of the research lifecycle. This includes participant-facing activities, supporting all aspects of research data, and contributing to research development, ethics, governance, and grant-related activities.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• assist with day-to-day delivery of research studies according to approved protocols and timelines
• provide support for participant engagement, including scheduling, reminders and responding to basic enquiries
• assist with collection, entry and basic management of research data
• support preparation of ethics and governance documentation under supervision
• perform general administrative duties to support the HBA team and research operations.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
• strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under supervision
• excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to interact professionally with participants, team members, and external stakeholders
• attention to detail and accuracy in data collection, entry, and management
• competence in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and willingness to learn research-specific software (e.g., REDCap, SPSS, or equivalent)
• knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles and familiarity with clinical or health research settings.
