Research Technician II (Temporary: 2 positions available)
Description of Work:
The lab's focus is to understand how the brain supports complex behavior. We focus on how connectivity and communication between different areas of the brain underlies these processes. We use network neuroscience to examine structural and functional features of the brain in conjunction with several other techniques including multivariate pattern analysis, graph theory, and machine learning. Our research also explores interventions to improve brain health and cognition. One area of focus is nutrition and how nutrition interacts with the brain and behavior. You can learn more about our research on our lab webpage: https://dschultz14.quarto.pub/douglashschultz/
The Research Technician II will be responsible for data collection from human research participants, through behavioral assessments and in a brain imaging setting, as well as the analysis of those data. Administrative duties include recruiting and scheduling subjects, maintaining accurate records, data entry, and clear communication with the rest of the team. The Research Technician II will also play an important role in recruiting, training and overseeing undergraduate research assistants.
