Shandong Institute of Advanced Technology (SDIAT) is an international research institute founded in November 2019 in Jinan, Shandong Province, China. We rely on large-scale scientific facilities to conduct basic research in the frontiers of science and applied research in significant technologies.

I. Open Positions

1. The Particle Physics Research Center

Scientists in the fields of particle physics, nuclear physics, nuclear science and technology, solar physics, space physics, theoretical physics, condensed matter physics, nuclear electronics and detection technology, integrated circuit, microelectronics, semiconductor devices, etc.

Engineers in particle physics, nuclear physics, nuclear electronics, nuclear science and technology, integrated circuit, microelectronics, optics, automation, mechanics, etc.

2. The Thermal Science Research Center

Scientists in the fields of engineering thermophysics, refrigeration and cryogenic engineering, thermal and power engineering, electronics, optics, etc.

Engineers in engineering thermophysics, refrigeration and cryogenic engineering, thermal and power engineering, electronics, optics, automation, mechanics, etc.

3. The Computational Science Research Center

Scientists in the fields of computer science, software engineering, machine learning, AI algorithm research, large model technology and applications, etc.

II. Qualification Requirements:

Applicants should, in principle, be PhD graduates majoring in relevant research field. And applicants should be physically and mentally healthy, of good character, highly professional, and dedicative to the team.

III. Salary and Welfare

Shandong Institute of Advanced Technology provides the following salary and funds depending on the academic achievements and potential of the successful candidates:

1. Scientists:

• a) Senior research scientist annual salary between 800k and 1,200k CNY.
• b) Associate research scientist annual salary between 500k and 700k CNY.
• c) Assistant research scientist annual salary between 300k and 400k CNY.
• d) Post-doctoral scientist (under 30 years old): annual salary between 200k and 300k CNY.

2. Engineers:

Engineer: annual salary between 200k and 300k CNY.

In addition, SDIAT provides scientists with internationally competitive start-up research funding, all the welfare benefits of provincial public institutions and special benefits including housing and children’s education.

We provide strong supports for our staff members to apply for various subsidies from provincial and municipal governments, such as living allowance and house purchase subsidy, and to apply for national and provincial talent or research projects.
