Senior Academic Advisor
The Senior Academic Advisor advises College of Nursing students on university policy and procedures, program and degree requirements, and related academic matters. Manages logistics related to transfer credit processes and the transfer credit application to degree requirements across undergraduate programs. Handles complex cases related to transfer credit applications and general education petitions. Assists in the execution of student orientation. May serve as the instructor for university survey classes. Updates course materials and recommends and helps implement course improvements. Mentors less experienced advisors and provides leadership in advising community. Supports transfer credit needs and prerequisite evaluations of prospective students.
This position requires on campus presence.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications
4-8 years of relevant experience.
