Senior Gift Officer
Job Description
Are you passionate about building relationships that create a lasting legacy? Thiel College is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Gift Officer to lead our efforts in securing transformative gifts that will shape the College’s future for generations to come.
In this key role, you will:
- Inspire and steward alumni, friends, and donors toward impactful legacy giving opportunities.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive planned giving program that aligns with Thiel’s mission and long-term priorities.
- Collaborate with colleagues, College leadership, and professional advisors to structure charitable bequests, trusts, annuities, and other legacy gifts.
- Grow and engage membership in the Society of 1866, celebrating donors who commit to the College’s future.
- Promote giving opportunities through strategic marketing, events, and one-on-one outreach.
Preferred and Required Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or CFRE preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, estate planning, financial services, or related fields.
- Knowledge of planned giving vehicles, tax implications, and estate planning principles.
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
- Comfort with donor management systems and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
