About the opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Research Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality research projects within a collaborative academic environment.
This role will focus on the development and implementation of a quantitative survey, including building and managing the survey platform, launching it for a four-week data collection period, and ensuring effective monitoring and data integrity throughout. The position also involves contributing to qualitative data capture and analysis to support broader research objectives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a capable and independent researcher. Early career researchers and PhD students are eligible to apply.
This role will be a total of 14 working days, flexible scheduling.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Designing, building and testing a quantitative survey using REDCap
- Managing survey deployment and overseeing a four-week data collection period
- Monitoring data quality and troubleshooting survey issues
- Supporting quantitative data preparation and management
- Contributing to qualitative data capture and analysis
- Working collaboratively with the research team while operating independently with minimal supervision
About You
- Essential expertise in REDCap
- Experience in qualitative data capture and analysis
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience using Qualtrics (desirable)
- Broader qualitative research experience (desirable)
- Experience working in academic or research-intensive environments (desirable)
