Senior Services Specialist
Job Description
Make a difference in the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities as a Senior Services Specialist in Lewiston. In this role, youll serve as a trusted resource - helping individuals and families navigate available services and make informed decisions that support independence and well-being.
Youll respond to calls and inquiries, providing clear, impartial information about community resources and programs. Using established screening tools, youll assess eligibility and authorize services such as home-delivered meals, homemaker support, and caregiver respite. Youll guide individuals through program orientation, connect them with appropriate services, and maintain accurate records of all interactions in a statewide database. Your work will also include maintaining up-to-date resource information, advocating for clients, and supporting outreach efforts to educate the community about available services and protections.

Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of two years full-time equivalent related experience is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Starting pay range: $18.00 - $21.00
Work Site Location: Aging and Adult Services, Lewiston Office
Work Schedule: Typically Mon-Fri 7:30-4:00, Expected to start June 22, 2026
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background check and proof of degree if required for this position.
