Join a collaborative and future-focused Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences committed to enhancing student success, belonging and graduate outcomes at scale. As the Senior Student Success Officer, you will play a key role in shaping the student experience within UQ’s flagship Bachelor of Arts program - one of the University’s largest and most diverse degrees.

Working at the intersection of curriculum, employability and student engagement, you will partner with academic leaders, industry, alumni and professional teams to embed meaningful career development opportunities and industry connections into the student journey. This is a unique opportunity to influence innovative faculty-wide initiatives, contribute to transformational educational experiences, and help students build the capabilities, confidence and connections needed for success beyond university.

You will join a supportive and high-performing team environment that values creativity, collaboration and continuous improvement, while offering the opportunity to make a visible and lasting impact across the Faculty.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and coordinating projects related to teaching, learning or the student experience.
  • Strong event management skills, including the ability to work independently, prioritise own workload and meet deadlines.
  • Experience collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including academic staff, alumni and/or industry.
  • Ability to analyse data, write succinct reports, and accurately integrate information from a variety of sources.
