Summary:
Coordinate and assist as required in support of NEOMED college simulation educational requirements. Assist with the orientation, daily management, and overall support of simulated patients used in medical education. Manage recording and other technologies utilized in educational simulation events. Assist with setup and breakdown of equipment and other required supplies to support college simulation educational events, both inside and external to the Wasson Center. Maintain center supplies. Assist the Director when required, managing shared service simulation equipment.
Principal Functional Responsibilities:
- Wasson Center Simulation Event Support: Assist with set up and breakdown/cleanup for college simulation events, both inside the Wasson Center and external to the center. Manage Wasson center supplies. Assist with ensuring simulation center rooms and common areas are stocked with supplies and ready for use. Assist with center orientation of faculty and students participating in simulation events. Set up and test AV and recording equipment prior to simulation events, including video cameras, computers, microphones, and recording equipment. Operate recording and other equipment as required to support simulation education events. Coordinate with university IT when required for support and operation of Center IT technologies. Assist the Director to maintain budgetary reports and records.
- Simulation Patient Management: Assist with orientation, support, and utilization of simulated patients in support of college and other simulation educational events.
- Education, Assessment/Activity Implementation: Assist and provide inputs as required during college simulation event planning or reviews. May attend planning meetings with faculty to discuss the required simulation center support. Support the Director in carrying out the mission of the Wasson Center and simulation services in supporting college educational requirements.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree
- Simulation center experience
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and other office equipment.
