The Enrollment Management division at CU Boulder welcomes applications for the Slate Manager position! This role reports to the Associate Director of Slate and serves as a key member of a collaborative, high-performing team responsible for maintaining the undergraduate instance of the Technolutions Slate CRM within the Office of Admissions. This position plays an integral role in supporting a broad range of admissions operations, including event coordination, query development, communication workflows, application processing, document management, data uploads, and system integrations with external vendors and campus partners.

In this capacity, the Slate Manager works closely with the Enrollment Management Marketing, Communications, and Visits team, contributing to the success of newly expanded and reorganized units. The role requires a combination of technical expertise and creative problem-solving to design and implement effective solutions within Slate.

Core responsibilities include collaborating on new functionality, establishing timelines, configuring system processes, managing data exchanges, and supporting the operational needs of both Visitor Experience and Marketing and Communications. While this position does not lead initiatives or manage projects, it is essential to the execution of technical solutions that advance the strategic goals of the Office of Admissions. What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be: Slate System Support and Configuration: Assist with the configuration and maintenance of Slate forms, workflows, rules, and other system components. Provide technical support to Slate users and serve as a point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving issues. Document business processes and contribute to system improvements in collaboration with the Slate team. Event Setup and Communications Support: Build and manage admissions events in Slate, including registration forms and related configurations. Support the creation and scheduling of event-related communications in Slate Deliver. Collaborate with the Enrollment Management Marketing, Communications, and Visits team to ensure accurate and timely messaging. Data Reporting and Documentation: Assist in generating reports and dashboards using Slate tools. Maintain documentation related to event setup, communications, and reporting processes. Other Duties as Assigned: This includes but is not limited to attending Admitted Student Day in Boulder each year on an April Saturday, attending Slate Summit and additional trainings, and traveling to the Boulder Main Campus at least once a year as required for in-person All Staff meetings.

What We Require: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute on a year for year basis. At least one (1) year of relevant, job-related experience. At least one (1) year of serving as a customer contact for technical issues. Familiarity with university admissions. What You Will Need: Strong technical writing skills. Ability to translate complex processes into constituent steps for end users. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with Slate modules, especially Events and Deliver. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. What We Would Like You to Have: At least one (1) year of experience with an admissions CRM, especially Technolutions Slate. At least one (1) year of experience in either business process documentation or higher education recruitment. Experience in a collegiate admissions office. Familiarity with Campus Solutions or other student information systems. Customer service experience.
