ResNet is a residential technology package that includes an array of services for resident students. ResNet provides specialized technical support as well as cutting-edge services in your residence hall room. Our services include a high-speed, secure wireless network that covers the entire campus. We provide multiple wireless networks that are specifically designed to meet the academic demands of our resident students, as well as Xfinity Live TV streaming, Xfinity on-demand, movie streaming, printing and more.
Position Summary
The BSU Staff Assistant, ResNet Support Supervisor, provides administrative, operational, and basic technical support for the ResNet Program. Working in close collaboration with the ResNet Director, this position contributes to the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of ResNet services for students living in the residence halls. Duties include managing and mentoring ResNet student employees, providing customer service and basic technical support, coordinating with campus partners, overseeing documentation, and developing outreach and training initiatives. All ResNet job duties must be performed in accordance with the ResNet Trust Fund Guidelines.
This is a full-time, 12-month APA position and is subject to the terms of that union agreement. This position is located on campus in Bridgewater, MA.
Standard Schedule: Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM
(This position may be eligible for hybrid / remote work in accordance with BSU remote work policy.)

Essential Duties
- Deliver professional, accurate, and efficient customer support via phone, email, in-person, and chat.
- Train, schedule, supervise, and mentor student employees to support the delivery of ResNet services and ensure excellent customer service.
- Develop and maintain clear technical and non-technical documentation, including processes, procedures, instructional guides, knowledge base content, and inventory records.
- Create and distribute ResNet marketing and promotional materials for resident students through digital platforms, social media, promotional events, orientation, student organizations (e.g., SGA, RHA), and other outreach efforts.
- Provide entry-level technical administration, troubleshooting, and monitoring of ResNet services, such as network infrastructure, video streaming platforms, cloud-based printers and more.
- Stay current with emerging technologies; research and recommend initiatives, service enhancements, and innovations to strengthen the ResNet program.
- Collaborate with fellow campus and IT teams on service design, project planning, implementation strategies, and complex problem-solving.
- Coordinate with external vendors and campus partners to support service delivery, resolve escalated issues, and identify new opportunities for student-facing technology services.
- Support and promote the Universitys diversity, equity, and social justice initiatives.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree.
- Strong organizational and customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively with students, parents, staff, and campus partners.
- Ability to multitask, think critically, and solve problems while working in a dynamic team environment.
- Physical ability to lift 35lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in project management
- Familiarity with higher education environments, or student support
Salary Range
$60,000-$65,000
