QUALIFICATIONS
Education Requirements: In order to apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student, enrolled in at least six credits per semester. You must remain enrolled in courses to be eligible for the position.
Have some experience with Microsoft Office Products.
The student aide should have experience and/or comfort interacting with individuals of different identities including race, gender, sexual orientation, faith, veterans, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Great opportunity for a student aide to get experience working in an office and to learn about the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
General Function:
- Provide general assistance as determined by the department. The Student Aide will report to the Operations Coordinator or the Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and serves as a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with programs/events, assembling folders, stuffing name badges, research, clerical tasks, and customer service. The Student Aide will contribute to the overall functionality of the office.
Student Aides should be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, creativity, initiative, interpersonal skills, time management skills, organization, professionalism, active participation, the ability to handle confidential information, and a strong interest in diversity, equity and inclusion topics. The student aide should have experience and/or comfort interacting with individuals of different identities including race, gender, sexual orientation, faith, veterans, etc. Ideally, the student aide will have past involvement and/or attendance at DEI events. As representatives of the office of DEI, Student Aides are expected to conduct themselves in a timely, considerate and responsible manner.
