Job Story
The Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards is committed to fostering an educational climate that supports the mission of Wichita State University. The Coordinator for Student Conduct and Community Standards will support the mission through educating the campus community and encouraging responsible decision making through academic misconduct. The coordinator will aid the Director in administering the academic integrity process as well as provide a developmental and educational context for academic misconduct issues to faculty, staff, and students. The coordinator will serve as the liaison between Student Conduct & Community Standards and Academic Affairs. The coordinator will hear other cases within the SCCS Office, as needed, including but not limited to Conduct, Organization, Conflict Resolution, etc.
Job Summary
Develops, implements, and executes programs and services to meet the needs of students. Responsible for programming, recruitment and/or retention of students, training, partners with other University resources, and serves as a resource for all students, faculty, staff, alumni, and guests.
Essential Functions
Plans, coordinates, executes and assesses programs and other related events in conjunction with student organizations, other University departments, and community partners. Plans, coordinates, executes and assesses trainings, in conjunction with student organizations, other University departments, and community partners. May serve as a resource, consultant and liaison to the campus community on student issues. In collaboration with leadership, regularly assesses all programs and services the office provides for effectiveness as well as assist in daily administration. May support the programs by performing responsibilities which may include creating and maintaining databases and websites, monitoring, facilitating, and enforcing compliance with established criteria, guidelines and standards, etc. May provide ongoing monitoring and tracking of program budgets.
