"Student Services Coordinator"

Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking candidates for the position of Student Services Coordinator. This role involves coordinating projects, programs, and activities to enhance the student experience for both potential and current students.

Essential Functions:

• Assists and advises students on academic issues including university policies, course selection, registration, financial aid, scholarships, internships, and job skill development.
• Reviews and maintains student records, evaluates transcripts, and coordinates job placement activities.
• Coordinates field experiences, internships, and job placement for graduates.
• Develops and prepares informational materials such as website updates, brochures, press releases, and newsletters.
• Recruits students for programs and projects.
• Coordinates student-related programs and events including open-houses, award ceremonies, and career days.
• May assist with activities related to the accreditation process.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Level II: Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in advising or coordinating student services. A higher degree may substitute for experience.
• Level III: Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience in advising or coordinating student services. A higher degree may substitute for some experience.

Minimum Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of fundamental concepts in the field with awareness of related areas. Valid driver’s license required.

Desired Qualifications: Master’s degree in education or a related field.

Salary Range: $40,170 - $67,990.
