Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for Temporary Summer Honors Counselors. This position will work as honors camp counselor, including assisting the Lead Counselor and Pine Valley Lead Counselor in leadership training, assist with academic mentoring and support other camp counselor duties.

Please be advised that any offer of employment is contingent upon your eligibility to work in the United States. The university is aware of recent federal changes that may significantly increase the cost of filing H-1B visa petitions.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership training at Pine Valley.
  • Climbing Guide at Mt. Yonah.
  • Counselor duties: getting group to activities and supervising free time.
  • Academic mentoring.
  • Other duties, errands and tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Graduate.
